We are welcoming the New Year with lots of rain! The Chatsworth hills are starting to glow green with winter grass. The Lima rock is surrounded by grass a sweet gift from the recent rain.
Deerlake phase 1 construction continues weather permitting.
The conveyor belt should be active in January. The weather has hindered our schedule slightly. We need five solid days of no rain to finish our last phase of assembly.
The Canoga bridge has been formed with rebar and we began pouring concrete.
The temporary bridge will remain closed to the public until the new Canoga bridge is finished.
Equestrians please continue to use the same detours as previously provided. The same closures remain in effect.
The trails for the project are mostly affected south of the Woodcutters House.
We ask you to please use the trails on non-working hours for everyones safety.
Working hours are Monday -Friday 7am-6pm.
Temporary Trail Closures:
1.) The trail coming out of Devils canyon by the Robles home
2.) Trail coming out of Devils Canyon up to the Mesa
